I am looking for any information, published or unpublished, on artists' colourmen/ suppliers of painting materials in Spain in the 19th century. In particular, any studies or surveys on canvas stamps, the history and introduction of preprimed canvases and commercialization of tube paints in Spain, or on the archives of any particular patents or trade marks. I haven't been able to find any published papers or references, so any information would be appreciated.
