True, it is just an annoyance. You just opened up my eyes about you being alone. Seems MandrakeSoft don't take the PPC release seriously, and that is of course not your fault. The gtk version is something that starts with a g... :-) I'll install Xine tomorrow anyway to get my DVDs playing, and I believe it can play MPEG-1's as well.
