If you have the space, I'd go for this one too...Wouldn't a rpm --root install not be better. Install 7.1 on one partition and cooker with tar xvfz rpm-4.2.tar.gz; ./configure;make;make install; rpm --initdb --root /mnt/cooker; rpm --root /mnt/cooker basesystem..rpm etc.1) is there a way to upgrade 7.1b -> cooker on a running system?This _should_ be possible. Grab a copy of the mirror, put it local on
the box, remove all possible 7.1b packages from the machine, upgrade the
rest to cooker. Should work, but it may be hairy at times... :-/
