I get this error from mplayer : Linux RTC init error in ioctl (rtc_irqp_set 1024): Permission denied Try adding "echo 1024 > /proc/sys/dev/rtc/max-user-freq" to your system startup scripts. Perms on rtc looks fine $ ls -l /dev/rtc crw------- 1 olivier video 10, 135 mai 18 07:03 /dev/rtc What perms need to be tweaked to allow this iotcl ? -- Olivier Blin
