Hi,
I used Mandrake Update on two machines tonight since it offers several
packages to update.
The packages I chose to update were: kdesu, kernel, qt, reiserfs-utils and
xlockmore. A very long error list of KDE apps appeared and complained
of needing libqt.so.1. Also received the error "package
reiserfs-utils-3.5.9-4mdk (which is newer than reiserfs-utils-2.2.16_3.5.9) is
already installed.
After Mandrake Update finished (error messages were the same on two machines),
the one machine that got the kernel upgrade won't boot. I sort of expected
this to happen, just wanted to see if it would work. Should it have worked?
