I think someone should add to a wiki somewhere:

urpmi ntp
echo "server time.ucla.edu prefer" >> /etc/ntp.conf
echo "time.ucla.edu" > /etc/ntp/step-tickers
service ntpd restart

It will automatically be configured to start when the rpm is installed.
