I never claimed it was a Mandrake problem. But I'm using Mandrake, I'd
like to continue to use Mandrake, I do not use other distributions, it
worked in previous release of Mandrake, so it is very much a Mandrake
(update) problem form the user's point of view.

If as a side effect it will be fixed for others - so better.
