I dont think so. I have pcmcia working with pcmcia_core, i82365, ds, and the driver for whatever pcmcia card I use. This is with a kernel.org kernel I made myself, but if I use the mandrake one I get a wierd mess of drivers, but then again I did screw with the init scripts.
