MandrakeFirstTime is run BEFORE GNOME or KDE, so that is normal there is no window manager at that time.. After that, do you have window decoration in GNOME ? If no, check in ~/.xsession-errors for sawfish error.. -- Frédéric Crozat MandrakeSoft
