In xterm/gnome-terminal it works fine.
For me it's not a kde bug but a eterm bug no ?

It's right it doesn't work in Eterm !

And bug http://bugs.kde.org/db/37/37037.html is not the same bug as you.

And in kde3.1CVS it doesn't work.
