Yes, of course courier is a great pice of software. But if you ever need
multiple shared folder in your imap system (like in our firma, where
every project has its own folder), there is no alternative to cyrus
afaik.

Yes, I tryed it, but it is about two years ago (I think Version 1.3.6 or so). But the courier way is not sufficient. With cyrus you can give a group or person read access, a other write and so on. Maybe this is possible with ext3-acl filesystem in courier too. I never tryed out courier since 1,5 years.
Interesting. What exactly can you *do* with such shared e-mail folders?

I was helping a friend set up a Samba server for a client, and to get files off of the Novell server and retain functionality, we had to install the Linux trustees kernel patch to allow us to do the same thing with files (some users/groups with read access, some with rw).
