This recipe I have been making for years. It turns out great. Peanut Butter fudge
2/3 cup milk 1 cup white sugar 1 cup brown sugar pinch of salt 1/2 cup peanut butter or 3/4 cup crunchy 1 teaspoon vanilla Heat sugars, milk and salt until just starting to boil Turn down heat and let simmer, just scrape sides of pot with spoon, but do not stir Start testing for soft ball after about 4 minutes When softball is reached, remove from heat and add peanut butter and vanilla It will thicken very fast so just stir until peanut butter is mixed in Pour into lightly buttered pan and cut when warm No need to refrigerate _______________________________________________ Cookinginthedark mailing list [email protected] http://acbradio.org/mailman/listinfo/cookinginthedark
