My ex was cooking lentils in a pressure cooker once and the seal blew on it.
Nobody was hurt, but it left an unholy mess in the kitchen, and they were still
finding remnants of the event ten years later in nooks and crannies in the
kitchen. It was an old pressure cooker, so it was probably compromised.

Subject: [CnD] thoughts on pressure cookers

I should do the research but let me start here first.

I just ordered a 6.5 qrt pressure cooker. Has anyone heard any horror stories
concerning the pressure cooker?

My coworker states that she will never get one after her friend was burned from
her face down to her chest by one.
