I agree with Jennifer. There are those of us who
Don't have four hundred dollars for a talking toaster
Oven or talking microwave. I did it once for a talking microwave,
It lasted two years, and died. Instead of getting it repaired,
I was advised to buy another one, and I just cannot and will not.
I decided to live without a microwave oven now.
Been doing that two years now, and found other ways to reheat food.
The best deal was the Hamilton Beach Teamo talking microwave,
Back in 2006, which cost $120 and I had one, and it lasted two years.
Why can't things be made to last like they used to
In the old days? Then, I could justify spending that kind of money
For a talking one if it could be repaired and had a lifetime warranty;
otherwise, no, not for another two years, not ever.
A one year warranty is a cheap disappointment.

Marie

The technology to make any of those devices maybe costs $1.00 if that.
That's blindness industry markup; many make money in the blindness
industry and very few of them are blind.
