Hi Paul, I recently upgraded to Tahoe, which regrettably broke Coot v0.9, forcing me to move to Coot v1 mid-refinement. I am navigating the steep learning curve of the new version and have a few basic questions:
1. I've noticed that I cannot change the map contour level using my external Bluetooth mouse's scroll wheel; it only responds to the trackpad. How can I get Coot v1 to recognize the scroll wheel for contour level adjustments? 2. The clipping planes (slab size) in Coot v1 seem much narrower than in v0.9, where it was easy to isolate the local vicinity of a residue. Is there a way to override the default settings in Coot v1 to match the broader slab size of Coot v0.9? 3. What is the correct way to select a specific range of residues and perform a real-space refinement (RSR) on only that selection? 4. How do I display crosshairs? (This was mapped to the 'C' key in v0.9.) 5. Coot v0.9 had a feature that labeled the atom you selected and translated to. How can I re-enable this labeling feature in Coot v1?
