Hello to all, I just got some news from my mechanic that I'd hope that no one would get-.at least me He told me that He found Aluminun in my oil screen and it appeared that my engine needs to be majored. THis is news that is really ill-timed for me from the finance side.This airplane is really perfect in every other way maybe someone has an engine that has no plane or someone in northern ILL wants a plane that needs an engine.This coupe is very very nice new interior ,recent wing recover and paint ed wheelpants full panel with lotsa nice instruments new altimeter rebuilt encoder transponder,T&B artificial horizon recent Fuselage paint Bubble windscreen Telex intercom MichelsMX 11 com nice radio great sound also an add'l Narco 11a Clevelands for stopping. this coupe is converted to a c/d.The prop was overhauled and dynamically balanced 1 1/2 ago.I have a belly strobe and nav lites.The wing tanks don't leak they are nice. I guess that I am writing this note to all in hopes to find some solution to this predicament I really dont want to part this out but if there is an idea out there please let me know. BTW I have a 1957 Harley 3 wheel Servicar that I'd consider trading or selling for a servicable C 85, I've owed it for 35 years it runs great lotsa new parts mostly original too.
