  Hi Candy, Coming from an exStinson owner I am sure you know what your
talking about. And I have a 415 that the FAA called a Forney. Have seen
other 415's also with Forney on the registration. (Make no sense)  Warren

and apropos of that  --  when Piper bought Stinson, there were a
number
of 108-2s and 108-3s, both on the assembly line and finished, waiting
to
be sold

some of those were sold as "Piper Stinson", some as "Piper", and some
have been re-registered "Universal Stinson", since Univair bought the
type certificate ...
