(5 years now) I know they hold up 500% better than "new" low end tires. I think AVweb did a story on retreads, you may want to check. I think y'all should check the FAR's. If you live south of the Mason-Dixon Line, like I do, ye gotta use re-caps. It is a requirement to pass a annual. The tread cannot be the straight line stuff either, it's gotta be mud grips. By the way Fire and FAR is pronounce the same. Don't get confussed.
