The different fitting thing was the mixture of AC and AN fittings
that Ercoupe uses.

I in fact still have a tiny bit of seepage from the valve itself. Next
annual I am going to drain the header tank and take the valve
apart and lap it. It isn't actually a drip, just a tiny bit of seepage
from the valve itself from time to time.

The superior pilot skill thing---well let me tell you the truth.
With 73H I have a terrible time with altitude control. The thing
likes to climb like crazy. If I divert my attention even for an
instant, the rate of climb pegs.

Ron on the other hand had a problem that is just the opposite.
He has problems clearing the fence at the end of the runway.
When I called the 45, I saw Ron way way down there already on
the downwind threading his way between the trees and power
poles on the way to the runway.

Then when we were down, he chided me for missing the first
turn off. However the restaurant was past the second taxi way
HA HA.

Cheers:

Paul
