I had a stress test last summer, in anticipation of my medical (the FAA has requested I have one each of the last two times I've renewed. Which had always kept me on the ground for about 3 months while they reviewed it.) Anyway, my cardiologist, who is a pilot, had an intern with him at the time. And he explained to her that, as he sees it, the FAA's number 1 job is to ground as many pilots as they can. And they take their job VERY seriously. BTW, I recieved a clean bill of health. Again. (Maybe now they'll stop with the stress test demands every two years.) MD -----Original Message----- I have to agree with Bob here someone I know personally was denied a medical because he and his wife had gone to counseling to see if they could save their marriage (there was no physical abuse involved on either's part) he was denied under that "any mental or emotional problem" part of the med standards ==^================================================================ EASY UNSUBSCRIBE click here: http://topica.com/u/?aVxiLm.aVzvvT Or send an email To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] This email was sent to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] T O P I C A -- Register now to manage your mail! http://www.topica.com/partner/tag02/register ==^================================================================
