What goes around comes around. In a nation where we seem to believe
that we have a right to know who an elected official sleeps with and in
what manner and with what accessories. In a nation where we think it's
any of our business what their kids imbibe. All in guise of deciding
whether they're able to run a government.

In a nation where we feel the need to say, even parenthetically, "there
was no physical abuse" when talking about a whether someone is
physically and mentally fit to operate an airplane.

We need to become a nation, again, where 'no' means either 'no, it
didn't happen' or 'no, it's none of your damned business.' There are
boundaries, you know, as to what 'the people' be they the gossip-hungry
masses or 'the gumment' have a right or a need to know.
