I added a quart once simply by unlocking the cap and setting it off to side hanging from the dip stick. I buttoned things up and took off... after 5 min. in the air it occured to me I couldn't remember locking the cap back on after disposing of the oil bottle. I stuck my hand out the window and down toward the wing walk for a couple seconds. It was covered! I considered an off runway landing, but being only 5 min out, watched the oil pressure and potential landing sites all the way back to the runway. I had lost 2 quarts in 10 min. It took a gallon of solvent to clean up the mess. Dick in NM ==^================================================================
