Five min. after takeoff got to thinking about the cap-went back and landed and had oil all over the engine area. Boy I really felt stupid - flying for 40 yrs. and doing a dumb thing like leaving the cap off. I have always had a rule about COMPLETING a task before leaving it. Ignore the rules and you will get 'bit'.
