Lynn;

   I have seen a lot of the problems you are
talking about. If your engine does not want to
start hot, it is in most of the time bad, braking
down coils in the mags, when they are hot inside
they will fuse together inside and will cause a
weaker spark. After your engine is hot and not
starting, get someone to crank it over with plug
out and check the spark on both mags, if you have
a weak are no spark this is the problem. I think
turning the idle jet screw is not the answer.
   Also make sure the intake hoses are tight. No
air intake leaks. Crank engine let run for one
minute, put hands on each cylinder to see if they
all have the same temp, if one is hoter it may
have a air intake leak.
