This is a GREAT idea - at least it is a PROACTIVE thing to do! Witht the beauty of cut and paste - I was able to send off the following to the top leaders - at least the names I hear most! Feel free to copy and send as often as possible! As I general aviation pilot I abhor the attack on our nation by the terrorists. I have patiently understood the need for the immediate grounding of aircraft for security purposes. However, this has gone on FAR too long. There has been NO indication that general aviation played any part in this and no reports of non-commercial planes being a threat. It is unfair - and seen largely as a sign of bureaucratic incompetence of the Federal government (FAA and DOT) by a HUGE contingent of general aviation pilot's - and will not be tolerated for much longer. That said, I applaud any and all actions taken Against the Terrorists - Not against the freedom which the have attacked!
