----[Please read http://ercoupers.com/disclaimer.htm before following any advice in this forum.]---- just went through the wing root fairing removal fun and decided that I'll only do this once, that is to say make it a two man job. what I did, since they must come off at every annual anyway is to drill out and rivet tinnerman nut plates. from now on wing root fairing removal is a one man job. wasn't a bad task at all with one person inside bucking rivets. JoeC 99621 ps-- got a question for you all (all of you). decided to replace the rear windows using the rubber molding retainer. the bolted in window I removed was approx 1/8" thick. the new windows I purchased from Skyport were anly approx 1/16" thick. what gives??? what were the originals???
, but the only hard part about that is removing the *&%^$% wing root
fairing.
Hope this helps...
