Hi All; Almost ready to turn the calender to a new year and as 99621 is
getting ready to make her first appearance in 7 years, I'm looking forward
to start attending some of the various Coupe functions. and especially
2002s convention. I understand it will be in Mason MI.
Some of the restoration process included the following;
wings stripped & thorouly inspected
new leading edges
2 part zinc chromated
recovered with Poly Fibre system
New nose wheel tire
Replaced donuts
Added spacer to raise tail
New Slicks, harness & plugs
New fuel pump
Prop repitched to 7148 from 7151 (for 85hp) by Midwest Propellor 
Replaced side window welting
New rear windows w/lockbead moldings
Muffler rebuilt by Dawley
New right side SS stack
Completed Model D conversion (SS skin over fuse tank, 9 deg elevator
restriction, panel placards)
New top & bottom flat windshield moldings
Fuselage painted w/2 part auto enamel
Made new interior using Airtek materials
Complete flushing of fuel system
Talk about annual costs, WOW many $$$ later but loving every minute of it
especially since corrosion was not an issue.
I've been very fortunate to spend several hours flying right seat with
Dennis Spiegel in 99564 getting me aclimated to the Coupes handling and
each flight gets me more anxious to the day 99621 takes to the air this
coming spring. Thanks bunch Dennis!!
