That's okay. It works. Once you learn to fly it, though, things are a lot more tractable at the higher approach speeds anyway. Less effect of cross-winds, less likelihood of getting wind-sheared. Less getting so bored down final that you muff a perfectly good approach (Cessna 172 style)...
