Good you are the greatest builder on the planet. You follow every STANDARD
and use only APPROVED parts, or completely test and DOCUMENT every part
you
install... and you don't just get parts from Home Base.

Can you GUARANTEE every one else is like you.

Right you can not, so my point stands.....

I think the real point is why in the world do 747 guys, need to know
Fabric
and Mags...  Why do Piper guys need to know Jet engines.  They need to
change the A&P licensing so that we above average guys can get a license
in
a year or less to work on certain types of aircraft.  I can tell you I am
not giving up my IT job to get a lower paying A&P job..... But I would
like
to be able to legally work on small aircraft with out the A&P over my
shoulder.
