Spent about 7 hours today working on my coupe panel and installing MLG
spacers (an easy 30 minute job FWIW.)

The plastic "hub caps" on the yokes were in need of paint and I also
noticed
that they were warped and the halves not lining up. I had this crazy idea
so when I got home I tried it...

Took a hole saw and made four round grooves in a piece of 3/4" ply. Then
I
squished the caps into these grooves and now they're in the oven at 250
degrees. Hoping they get hot enough to take a set and stay round. Any
bets??? :)

Any of you happen to be chemical engineers and can tell me how long to
bake
these babies and at what temp. I think they're a thermoset rather than a
thermoplastic but I'm not exactly sure. Any ideas?

Thanks and I'll keep you all posted on how they turn out :)
