Have to say that I too would ground my airplane on this one. The only cracking that is common would be on the walk box to airframe fairings (rear upper and lower) trailing edge While your having it looked at, look for wrinkle on the bottom skins. Popped rivets and the likes. Sounds more like to many hard landing from the past. I think I can say that we are all sorry that your having so many problem with this Ercoupe, Yours, Warren H. There was a problem with the belly skin cracking. But the way I read your E-mail that not the problem your having?
