Since you have indicated that you completed the checklist prior to taking the runway, you should have checked every instrument EXCEPT the airspeed. Therefore, as long as you are making the proper power, ie Tach reads appropriately, the airspeed becomes the next and last instrument to be checked prior to lifting off the runway.
