Not really so bad. The killer is the landing lights. But ALL the solid-state electronics you can pack into her won't, together, use as much current as a single old tube-type NAV-COM or a bit of a landing light, or probably even your position lights. I mean, look at the current drains of the solid-state gear and you'll be amazed at the tiny drop in the bucket that they are. So go ahead, slap in those dual GPS-COMS, the nice transponder and whatever modern stuff you want in the panel. It's just no big deal. Greg
