The biggest headache is the removal of the header tank. EVERYTHING that
goes
throught he firewall to the engine MUST be removed. (electrical and
mechanical) They both control colums must be removed at the universal
joints. Even then, IT IS A REAL BEAR to get out.  Some have elected to
remove the control colum as well.  It is a matter of fact that ayything
you
remove from your airplane will take TWICE the time to put back. 
This is why I decided to install the 15-gallon wing tanks. Another
important
factor relating to the decision was that the cost was not a decideing
factor.  I well realize that cost is of paramount importance to many and
the
decision is not an easy one to make.  However, I feel that any coupe that
has the 15-gallon wing tanks installed is going to bring a PREMIUM when
sold.
