My thoughts were on the sailplane "self certification" description I had seen. (I'm sure there are LOTS of sailplane pilots who aren't mentioning things to the FAA but are still flying.) For ultralights, I don't know if there is even "self certification" necessary since they aren't really "aircraft." -- Ed Burkhead Peoria, Ill. N3802H
