First 1600 TT or SMOH? 1600 is 3/4 + to TBO That what my 67 had. In the
first week it had An exhaust valve break. New cylinder time. Then first
annual another exhaust valve burned. Three new cylinder. Now at 1815 I'm
praying I'll get another two years out of it.
Painting, Remove and replace. Sanding leaves weight. An Ercoupe needs
as
few pounds as possible. Assuming your not weighting in at 120#.
This is not to put you off on the Alon. But it is a 30+ year old
Airplane
An a mid+ time Engine is just that. You can be sure that you'll get 400
hrs
more. But you could go to 2400 hrs too.
Also interiors cost an the plastic panels are not easy to find. (used
and
no new.)
