Before you came on board, Several tried to get them to fly into fox field at Lancaster, there was a free steak bar- b-cue and a weight and balance on the planes all free.... NO TAKERS Up until now there has been very little interest showed in getting the club back to fly, ercoupes/aircoupes. We all want the same thing!! the coupes to fly again... all any one has to do to get something in the EOC newsletter is to send same to the editor before the dead line posted... we use to send in different maintenance items, with so many sue happy people out there now adays most do not want to be liable if some one tries it and it doesn't work for them. Joe, came on board to be a person to call if the members wanted to get together... and to fill in until someone could be found to take it over and go with it.. He still is willing to step down.. so now lets go ahead and get the people voted in and go from there... when we get the director, and wing leaders, then send the information to Skip, stating this is what Region 7 wants and he will change it for us in the newsletter. You will need a wing leader for Northern Ca. I am sure Gary will stay on as Southern Ca. Leader... there has been more people calling here and to Joe from the Southern End to have a fly in.. I have most of their address as does Joe. Max from Las Vegas, is the wing leader for Nev.. and is the host for the fly end for the Halloween bash up there... we have never been able to make that one due to not having a baby sitter for Cody. Joe, Gary, Sandy,Les, and several more are looking forward to the fly ends starting up again in Cal. Lets pull together and go on from here. Audean
