I'd add two items to Dave's advise.

1. Measure your tail height ahead of time. If it's substantially lower
than 75 inches, have your donuts pre-ordered. If you also have a double
fork nose gear and the spacers have never been added to the donut stack,
get some spacers and pre-staff your paperwork through the FAA. Bill
Coons, here on the list, got the original approval from the FAA for this
and is working on an STC. Ercoupe Owners Club members can get a sample
of his paperwork by contacting the club or maybe by contacting Bill,
here on the list (he seems to travel a lot).

2. I'd also STRONGLY recommend that ALL Coupe owners keep a copy of the
Coupe Type Specification and take it with them to the annual. It
contains the LAW on most of the basic Coupe options and combinations.
Everything else is, at best, a _supplemental_ type certificate or a
one-time change.

3. Last, I'd suggest doing the ice-pick test on the push rods early in
the annual. It may take a day or two to get them FEDEXed from Skyport
if you have a corroded one or two.

4. Lastest, I'd recommend you take a current copy of Coupe Capers with
you to the annual. It has advertisements for all the Coupe vendors so
you can call immediately to make orders for overnight delivery, if
needed.
