Thanks for this post. I too am a "returning pilot" about 500 hours with
a 30+ year lay off. I have been too sloppy with my air speed during
approach
and I shall keep your post foremost in my mind.

I have been sloppy about rolling in trim with flaps down and as a result
the nose wants to rise.  NO MORE.
