Dan, I don't know the legalities on the trim tabs either, but of the three 46 415s I have owned, all have had them. The one I have now has the ground adjust tab on the rudder. Another 2cents on my part: When flying a coupe with a bare panel such as mine (no DG or Horizon), the turn and bank becomes a very welcome instrument. Denny----N93990
