jack:
We just installed a venturi-vacuum needle ball which makes me feel much
safer. With only a compass for direction I was always worried about flying

into a cloud, especially at night, since the compass goes wirrly in a
turn.
We have practiced the one minute turn with the needle and find it will
bring
us out on the 180 deg mark every time! The peace of mind investment was
only
about $100.00. As far as the ball part goes, our coupe keeps it glued
right
where it should be all the time. I suppose it might tell us if the
rigging
was out of line on the plane.
