Don: Just one more word please. Going through an annual, doesn't necessarily mean it's certifiable. Before I got involved in 94023, APs from 1953 on passed a decertified prop., I've heard of non STC'd mods being passed with regularity, our present airplane included. I'm in the middle of fixing that one! It doesn't matter if your AP passes the aircraft. What matters is: is it airworthy, and will the FAA Agree at ramp check time. ( some of them like to pick on coupes because of the "self help" stigma) Doug
