Did your carb have a one-piece venturi added as part of an AD? If so, that might be the problem. This was a big headache on the O-200 especially. The stock nozzle has a problem working with the one-piece venturi making it run real rich, especially at full power. Pete or Al at Precision Airmotive can help, the number is (425) 353-8181. They have a new nozzle that was made to correct the problem. Instead of a long nozzle with a single large hole at the end, the new nozzle has several smaller holes.
