Yes the Apollo hand held called the precedus is a very good GPS unit. I'm not sure if they will manufacture them much longer so they might be picked up cheap... I used to use the Apollo in my GPS seminars . It has a load of features but the screen does not show as much as the later models.. What it does have though is a way to make a GPS overlay approach to any airport in
the country.In fact most airports are already in there for approach purposes. The ones not in there can be put in. I have just published an article for the FAA explaining how to make GPS approaches with any GPS, even the 95 dollar ones. If ya all get to the Convention and I'll show you. Bill Coons 99822
