First of all Ed, I sincerely hope you get your medical . Those unfortunate folks who don't fly (the way we do) will never understand the joy of the "feeling of flight" when first you become airborne and head for the wild blue. And it's not just the first time, but every successive takeoff. Aren't GPS's great? Before 94023 became grounded, I'd been having difficulty making what I judged to be great landings. I'm not a low time pilot, but been away from it for quite a few years, and was really mentally beating myself up. I'd been making some quite good landings just recently, but didn't get the opportunity to expirement further because of the "incident" involving the prop. I think we're about ready to make a decision on another plane, and the expirimentation can continue. What you've said in answer to my question pretty much summed up my thinking on the matter. I really like reading you Ed, what you have to say is usually of great substance. So please continue with the forum, and fly any time and anyhow you can. I got to fly one of those "off-brands" yesterday, and even though it wasn't a Coupe, it was still a "blast". Doug
