We have a "Mooney" M-10, with lots of up travel. It's a conventional tail. I still can't get the nose up much until the thing is going down the runway at a pretty good speed. The problem might be that the main wheels are too far aft of the CG to let me bring the nose up with a little power and full up elevator.
