It's not as good on a rough field as a C-150 or C-152, because you 
can't get the nose up in the air to take the weight off
the mains.  There are no flaps either, so it's a bumpy ride if the 
field is not real smooth.

Our loaded Mooney M-10 doesn't climb nearly as well
as a loaded Cessna 152.  When I give lessons in a 152, I feel 
like I'm in a bigger, more stable and powerful airplane.

On pavement it gets off fairly well, I don't know exactly 
what the ground roll is but it's maybe 20% more than a 152 or 
a 150.
