Tom: Only one comment. why make the rotate decision yourself? Why not let the coupe decide for itself when it's ready to fly? In most light wing loaded tri-cycle geared airplanes, making the nose light entails (some) back pressure on the yoke. With the coupe, because of the limited elevator uptravel, the yoke should come back into your gut upon the application of full power. This accomplishes the shortest take-off roll. ( that comes right out of the book, and it works) But one has to be careful to relax the yoke slightly to gain Vy 1 of about 75 MPH for best ROC. (sure feels good to talk like the big kids) You will notice a definite change in aircraft attitude after about 100' of roll---thats the coupe "flap effect". I love the way the coupe flys ( like a little fighter). Since our bird is grounded for awhile, I can only anticipate being back in "coupe-air". Doug
