Compliments for asking! Much smarter than the former owner was or the
fifty or a hundred Coupe pilots I've talked to who were thinking about
trying this.

I'm not an aerobatic pilot but I've been in on ten or twenty discussions
of this that included aerobatic pilots. I've been in on discussions of
this with Fred Weick, the designer.

Consensus: To do ANY aerobatics in a production plane that is not
designed for it takes MUCH, MUCH, MUCH more skill than doing them in the
rented Citabria or Pitts. To do aerobatics in a production plane, you
must be _so_good_ that AT NO POINT DO YOU APPROACH THE LIMITS OF THE
AIRCRAFT.

If Bob Hoover offers to take me for an aerobatic flight in my plane I
would go without a question. He's made a career of aerobatics in planes
not designed for it. Do it with Chuck Yeager? Maybe. Anyone else?
NO!

Compliments also to the many people who've given such good advice
already!
