Tom, don't feel alone. I reported 5 miles out in-bound for 14. A
Cessna 172 driver tried to land on a 4400 ft. runway with winds that
were 210 at 12 kts. He couldn't get it on and did a go-around for
Runway 21, which is 2800 ft. long, but not in very good condition. I
had no problem coming in on Rwy. 14. Maybe its' experience, as I don't
feel as comfortable in crosswinds now as I did this summer. I haven't
been able to fly as much, averaging only about an hour a week instead of
this summers' 4 hours a week.
